Dr. Ruthrendhra E is a super-speciality trained cancer surgeon, having completed his M.Ch in Surgical Oncology in Chennai after an M.S in General Surgery at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was awarded the Dr. S.B. Sen Memorial Gold Medal.

He currently practises as a Surgical Oncologist at Iswarya Cancer Centre and Swasam Clinic, Chennai, and operates at Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute. He also consults and operates at other hospitals and clinics in and around Chennai on request, and has previously served at Gleneagles Health City, Chennai, and Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital, Andhra Pradesh.

His practice covers the full range of cancer surgery, with a particular interest in breast oncoplasty, gastrointestinal cancer surgery, and cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC for peritoneal disease.
